State employed population marginally grown during the last decade
The state employment or employed population in the public sector has been 1,179,889 in 2011 and it has increased up to 1,202,137 by 2020. The private sector employed population has been 3,320,137 and it has grown up to 3,521,695 by 2019. The 4th quarter data provided by the census and statistics department indicate a decline of employment. Department has been able to release the final Labor Force survey results for the year 2020 and 1Q, 2Q 2021 as well.
