Sri Lanka 364 days Treasury bill rate fell 0.29 percent at first auction after elected new president

91 days T-bill fell by 0.09% to 7.47 %, 182 days rate fell by 0.09% to 7.58% and 364 days bill rate fell by 0.29% to 8.22% lowest for this year. CBSL has accepted LKR 19.0 Bn worth of bids at the auction out of which LKR 16.3 Bn was 364 days bills. Interest rates were under pressure during the last three auctions by pushing the rates up.
