Lending rates decline slow-down in March
CBSL continue to adapt the accommodative monetary policy by lowering the domestic interest rate and flooding the market with excess liquidity for the last two years. In response, the lending rates by LCBs fell dramatically. But the new lending rates have increased by 0.02% in March compared to Feb, the first time since rates start declining.
