Sri Lanka has a liability of repaying principle amount of USD 106.56Mn for SLDB maturing on 30th July 2021. In line with settling the said obligation CBSL initially announced USD 30mn SLDB auction while open it for upsizing to $80Mn. CBSL managed to attract USD 58.54Mn which is higher than the initial offer but lower than the total obligation of the SLDB maturity.
