Sri Lanka's monetary authorities had imposed a cap on the 364Days T-bill rate in order to maintain the low interest rate regime and accommodative monetary policy. But soon after the change of the CBSL governor, the cap was removed and bond market is expected to submit bids for the auction tomorrow. Majority of the market participants and the interesting parties expect the 364Days bill rate will jumped beyond 6.45% from the current weighted average of 6.12%.
