ASPI Index crossed the psychological 8,000 point threshold
Sri Lanka stocks ASPI closed 0.70% higher and S&P SL 20 up by 1.71% today while recording highest turnover of LKR 6.2Bn since 30th March this year. Despite positive momentum, foreigners have been net sellers over LKR 1Bn for the second consecutive day, which resulted a total of LKR 7Bn net outflow for this month so far. Interestingly negative contributors were higher than positive contributors today ( 99 vs 84).
